Welcome! I’m Sarah—an audiologist and part-time professor based in Canada. I started this blog to share ideas, spark positive change, and celebrate the incredible field of audiology. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with the sounds of life and improving lives through better hearing.

In addition to mentoring and educating within the profession, I also share consumer-focused hearing health education through @DurhamHearingCo, where I provide accessible, evidence-based information to help individuals and families better understand their hearing and communication needs.

I love learning and sharing knowledge about our profession—especially when it comes to expanding our autonomy and practicing to our full scope. When I’m not talking about ears, you’ll find me sipping coffee, practicing yoga, exploring new places as a cheesy tourist, or spending time with my husband and two children.
